Battery consumption worry

In my Xperia M2 the battery indicator shows one percentage of battery drainage from 98% to 97% while I was browsing Internet while charging.Then I put down the phone and it took the full charge. Is it normal?

Are you using an original Sony charger and do you charge via wall socket? Do you mean that the phone was fully charged when you did not use it or was the battery completely drained?

Yapp.I am using an original Sony charger via wall socket.I was using the phone when it was charging at 98% and suddenly I noticed it showing 97% charging.Then I put down the phone for full charging. After that it charged 100%.So I am asking is it normal reducing the battery when it is on charge and I was using it or it's a bug?

I do not think it's a bug. Depending on the configuration of the phone, which apps that are active in the background and also how you use it, can make the battery drain even if it's connected to the charger. But of course it will drain the battery slower compared to when it's not connected to the phone.
