Bluetooth volume control via the Z3C jumps around

When connected to a bluetooth device, the Z3C's volume control controls the volume, but instead of the volume smoothly increasing/decreasing as I press the volume up/down buttons, the volume jumps around up and down. It is consistent in what it does, it is just completely wrong!

I have tried:

- two BT devices (I think both are aptX)

- my LG tablet with both BT devices and it works as expected.

- two apps on the phone (GoneMad music player and Podacast Addict).

The Z3C is on marshmallow and was factory reset about a week ago

Any ideas anyone?

test it in >>> safe mode

Good idea! But unfortunately I get exactly the same behaviour in safe mode...

You could contact your Local support to get it inspected.

Just downloaded the marshmallow system update OTA and this problem is now fixed...
