Camera app, support app, flashlight and web based apps all crashing since MM update Z5

New update has caused lots of issues for my phone, firstly my flashlight not accessible. Also having issues with my web based apps when running them with data, however they work fine when connected to wifi. My camera also keeps crashing. My support is also not working with the diagnostic tests also crashing or not completing. So far i have tried to clear the data/cache from the apps having problems and restarting, i have also done a complete factory reset. With none of these working i also completed software repair using pc companion. Despite all my efforts the problems are still persisting and as i said all these problems only started after the new update, is there anything else i can try to solve the problems?

have you restricted any app? which apps are you experiencing issues with?

hi, thanks for your reply. I havent restricted any of my apps, the main one other than my built in apps is my youtube app which will no longer function when used without wifi since the update.

How slow is your data ? download speedtest and report back.

Downloaded speed test results are as follows:

download= 24.21

upload= 0.70

ping= 20

could you test youtube while on >>> safe mode

settings > data usage > youtube > have you restricted app background data?

tested youtube on safemode, still not working, and no i have not restricted the app data

You could try a different SIM card to see if you experience the same, if you do then repair the phone with XC

if you don't then contact your carrier/network regarding this

so a few months ago after my phone updated the new marshmallow 6.0 i noticed a few faults with my phone, mainly the camera kept crashing and basically became unaccessable. I decided to wait for the new patch update in the hope that it would be solved then. So last night i get my new update, and as soon as its finished, phone turns back on and message keeps popping up "system ui is not working" i then decided to switch my phone off, leave it a while and then switch it back on again, only to find that my phone shows the startup and then... nothing just one blank black screen. The only thing i was able to do was switch the phone on and off. I decided to plug it into my laptop and try the repair with pc companion. It does that and then when my phone turns back on again it goes straight to the setup screen (welcome screen) where you select langauge and press "get started" only when i go to click on that i find that the touchscreen is now no longer working, however strangely when i press the power button the little box that comes up to restart or turn of comes up i am able to press and select one of those. I tried to do another repair using pc companion, but now when i plug it in, most times the pc companion wont detect my device now and when it does it says the phone is locked, which i cant do nothing about because the touch screen isnt working! Thankyou very much sony, first update stopped some of my phones basic apps from working and NOW YOU HAVE BROKEN MY PHONE COMPLETELY. Very unhappy with this, for such a big company i expected better, how can you release updates that can damage devices in this way? first sony phone for me and most certainly the LAST! and just to note i have only had this phone for 6 months and it is in prestine condition (as i always take very good care of my phones) however for the price i paid for this phone, to be having issues like this after such a short space of time is unacceptable and now im assuming my only option would be to have it sent off? huge inconvenience for me as my work highly relies on me having a phone. i really did expect better, to say its a shame and dissapointment is a huge understatement!
