ERROR- Camera not available

Hi, Sony

Recently I have encountered "ERROR- Camera not available" message when I want to use my camera in the phone.

Before that, it was functing well, but once the error come out, i could not use the camera anymore.

I have tired to reset the camera apps and disable/ enable it, but the problem persist.

With the information supplied, unfortunately it seems this could be hardware related. I suggest contacting Sony Mobile Customer Care for further help. However you could also attempt a software repair on the unit. Please see the details below.

Make sure to backup the handset before attempting this task.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps
