I've got a Sony Xperia z3, just over 12 months - no damage, no issues so far. All of a sudden one day last week I left my phone in my room and when I came back to get it, it had purple/orange lines horizontally across the screen. It kept happening - not in specific apps - even during startup so I closed all open apps, checked my memory wasn't even nearly full, did a reboot and then held the power and volume up button as a soft reset.
When all failed to resolve the issue I plugged in my phone to a laptop, backed it up and reset all settings.
The issue is still happening and I know I'm covered by my warranty + consumer law so I'm just wondering where I stand?
Is there anything else that I can so? My girlfriend has the same phone, same software version and no issue with hers
