how to run apps in background?

Certain apps turn off the media player that is running in the background(any, walkman, rocket etc), even apps that have no sound. How can I change that?

Can you please rephrase?You want to close some apps?They are run in the back,if you do not force close them.

No, I want the background player to play. But some games and apps close the player. I want to keep the background app open no meter what.

I do not think this is possible,unless you mute the respective apps or games.I think I managed to do that with my FIFA 12 game.I muted my game and walkman played.

I agree with alexdon this is something that you will have to suggest to the app/game developers
