Is this tablet worth it?

I am thinking of trading in my iPad for this tablet. Is it still worth it? I'm not able to afford a z2 tablet or z3 compact tablets, but I would be quite comfortable with this. I mainly use my iPad for browsing the net, reading comics and books, watching videos and social media.

Going from an iPad 3 to an Xperia Tablet Z would I be making a good choice?

I'm not familiar with the iPad 3 since I have never tried it or used it. But for the usage that you mention, it will not be a problem for the Tablet Z. The things that I can recommend you is to compare the specifications of these products and perhaps visit a local store where you can test the Tablet Z.
