My phone has recently started to restart consistently over the last couple of days. I get an 'inactive network' message at the top of my screen and then the screen goes blank. After a while it all comes back, but it is basically restarting. I have tried getting a software update but that seemed to only making it worse, because now its happening more frequently. My phone is w715. Do you have any suggestions?
I am having a similar problem, my phone displays 'inactive sim' message and restarts any time in my J105 Naite:
This problem is apparently due to a PCB fault and the solution is to have the same replaced. There is not a software fix for this issue if you have warranty send it back and get it replaced with a different handset.
I have the same problem with my J105 Naite [8 months old], they replaced the PCB once, refused to recognise the problem the next time. They said, orally, that it was a SIM Problem,
I:
i. have had the SIM replaced by the service provider, [BSNL]
ii. have tried another SIM from the same service provider, [BSNL]
iii. have tried SIM from another service provider, [Tata Dokomo]
the problem still exists,
so........ best of luck........... but act fast if under the warranty so they will replace free of cost ................
I have tried the SIM on LG and Nokia handsets, no problem exists!!!
i sent my phone in for repair and they replaced the whole software i think and so far its working (fingers crossed). but im probably getting a new phone next summer...
