pc companion

Hi guys new to this sort of thing, is it possible to drag and drop pictures into the pc companion for the sony xperia z1? 

I have tried but to no avail....

Could anyone help me please....

It will be easier to do this 

connect your phone to a PC  >  computer > xperia Z1 ? internal storage/SD card > select a folder > drag pictures, music, videos, etc

I did try that and it worked, though it says that the file is unsupported once i looked at it 😞

That doesn't make sense, could you elaborate on the files you are trying to drag/transfer to your phone?

I have taken pics off my old phone and put them on the screen, i then made a folder of them so it was easy to transfer so i tried the drop and drag thing but didn't work.....

No that hasn't worked either. The pic that i do get is a question mark, and its says unsupported file

try a different USB port

Could i possibly do it with the NFC???
