Personal dictionary doesn´t work

Hi! I´m struggling with the personal dictionary, which refuses to work. I have tried various combinations of languages, keyboards etc., but it just won´t let me use the shortcuts I make. And it´s really annoying to have to write down for example my whole e-mail address every single time...

Any ideas out there? Thanks!

Hi ping141,

as for Sony phone, doesn't use the personal dictionary (default dictionary from Android OS), 

the replaecment will be from Settings> language and input > choose your keyboard (xperia keyboard) > Use my writing style > My Words

please take note that you might not be able manually add though, but you can edit and delete here

how to add?

by experience, the more you type new words, in messages, in browser, in email, anywhere you can use your on-screen keyboard, Sony phone will automatically add in to "my words"

Hi and thanks for your answer! 

It´s not so much about words as it´s about shortcuts. For example, instead of writing your e-mail address, on my iPhone I could make a shortcut like "@@", and the phone would fill in my e-mail address. Or "hnd" would write "Have a nice day!". On iOs you can make as many shortcuts as you like, and it looks like you can do it as well on the Sony, except it doesn´t work...

Are you saying this is not possible on a Sony?
