usb & micro sim flap

hey guys i just bought a new z2 and the phone is all good but the flap on the left which covers the usb and mirco sim doesn`t close to the end , it pops up a little bit while the flap on the right can be closed firmly and to the extent that its a little bit down the frame , i saw 2 z2s with my friends today and both have both flaps close like the right flap in my phone
so i want to know does the left flap on my phone which can be closed but still pop up the frame a little bit make it not waterproof? and is it a manufacture fault ?
the phone is all new andn i noticed this thing about the left flap when i got it buy though it was normal

Hi, i would strongly advise to head back to where you bought it, speak to the 'expert' in the shop & clearly point out that it is NOT normal.....if you were to use it in water it would leak....so def not waterproof.

Insist on a new Z2....:smileysmileywink:

Hi Sherif, from the look of your photo it does seem to sit up slightly at the one end......i would still take it back to your place of purchase & talk to the person who said it was normal & ask to compare it with another one

Hi, i've had a Z...Z1 & now Z2 & all of them the flap sits really flush....as you've not had it long & you mentioned it at the time of purchase i'm sure you will have no problem getting an exchange....if the shop insists that it is normal & waterproof ask them to prove it by placing it in a glass of water for 5mins then test it for a bit in the shop 

Have a friend go with you when you do this......good luck :smileysmileythumbsup:
