phonebook not working

Hi! I'm using Xperia x10 mini. Whenever I try to add a contact to my phonebook, before clicking save this message appears: "The process android.process.acore has stopped unepectedly. Please try again." And I have no other choice but to click "force close"... Another thing is, even though my contacts' names appears in the messages in my inbox, when I click on the phonebook icon, the phonebook is empty... Anyone knows how to solve it? Thanks in advance!

Make sure that you have copied your contacts from your SIM to your phone in Phonebook in the Options menu.

If that doesn't help, try a Software Update.

hi,have excatly the same problem with the contacts and even after copy from sim and after software update,i have still the same problem.any ideas???i am confused.thanks

hi,

does the same happen when the phone book is empty? How many contacts do you have stored? I suspect it is one corrupt entry perhaps that makes the app crashing.
