Power\lock button does not work

My power button worked normaly, then 80% then 40% and now 0% . If i want to unlock phone i have to plug in usb charger or somebody has to call me so that the screen lights  up and then i unlock it. It is pretty anoying since i cant use my phone at all if i dont have a charger with me or somebody calls me so that the screen flashes and i can use my phone. 

Any solutions?

That's a hardware issue, you have to either contact your Local support or if you DIY, it will be cheaper but it will void the warranty, keep in mind that it might be even more than just replacing the power button.

If the microswitch still works (you can hear click when you push the button) try to restart your phone first. Turn the phone off by Pushing and holding the red button by your SIM card untill the phone vibrates. Then turn it on. You will not lose any data. This worked for me (I used the camara button to turn the screen on)..

Ok i turn it off on the red button. How do i turn in on now when power button doesnt work?!

Seems as though you will need to follow @uliwooly's instructions as above, try contact Customer Care and have them get the device inspected.

Can someone please help me how can i restart my phone since my power button is not working. I checked all the menu and i cant find restart option. Since it  hasnt been restarted for months (power button not working) would be nice if i could update my phone but i have to restart it

You can turn your mobile OFF by holding the red button by your SIM card but since your power button does not work most likely you will not be able to turn it ON again. Maybe it is possible to restart it via Sony Companion program from your PC (not sure about it).
