Problems with jellybean update

Hi,

I bought a sony xperia acro s about 8 months ago. It had the ICS operating system.

I updated it to the sony provided jellybean.

Now I am facing problems I didn't have during my ICS time.

Firstly, when I listen to music on the provided walkman, the song being played ends and gets back to the beginning instead of playing the next song.

Secondly, my phone supports 1080p videos. In fact, it can capture 1080p video. The thing is, when I am playing the videos, including the 1080p videos I record, the videos lag. It's like playing 1080p videos on android phones which don't support them. In addition to that, avi and wmv videos play slower than a snail. I tried mx player, mobo player, the provided video player and every other video player I found.

I am facing more problems, but these are the main two.

Didn't have these problems when I had my ICS.

My phone isn't rooted. I may have to root it to return to get it's perfect past form back.

I don't know if anyone else is having this problems or anyone that can help me.

Any official help will be helpful.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Crying_Face

its strange that such problem persists even after software update.. I don't know the exact solution but as you've mentioned rooting, i also rooted my phone yesterday and by using "setCpu" app, i overclocked my phone to max. and now  soo fast and smooth than before..btw just a temporary solution..
