Hi, i have had my Xperia Z2 for less than 2 months, previously owning the Xperia Z with no issues or faults, now i had my phone sitting on my desk and out of the blue the screen on the front cracked, a small hairline crack going down the right hand side of the phone, this renderred the phone unusable so i sent it off to be repaired, but after further investigation i have found this is not uncommon for many users, and Watchdog have done a segment on the phone and this issue, hopefully Sony recognize this as a fault and not a regular service user error, i have always taken good care of my phones and was shocked to see that this had happened. i will say that if this does not get repaired for free i will no longer buy (regretabally) Sony phones, i have always been a fan of Sony phones and it will be very unfortunate to consider the Xperia Z2 as my last.
Has anyone else had this issue or had luck with getting it repaired for free?
