The spellchecker does not work

In Settings option in the Language and Text Input the spellchecker does not have any file, no stresses me any misspelled word in red (I have the option enabled). This is very useful when writing, is there any way to make it work?

Has some words, but in my cell old (Huawei Ascend P1) the spell checker was bringing a package of words in English and Spanish, that package the Sony Xperia Z1 C does not bring, is what I want to know if there is any way to put a packet. It would be impractical to put word for word the dictionary.
