I have Sony Xperia E3 (Single SIM). I cannot update to its latest vertion 18.4.C.1.29. Please help. My vertion is 18.4.A.1.25. Have you update to 18.4.C.1.29?
The previous vertion was 18.4.A.1.25 and after update by Sony PC Com..... the vertion is same 18.4.A.1.25. I have repair my phone by Sony PC Com... . But till I am getting 18.4.A.1.25 vertion.
Just like any other update you will have to wait for the update to be approved and released in your country/region and/or by your carrier, the alternative is for you to flash your phone
You can manually flash another country's firmware however to answer your question - Before generic handsets get the update the networks have to all authorise the update, I'm not saying they have to release the update but they do have to authorise it - Then Sony will be authorised to release it to generic devices
Check your phone model if it is D2202 it might not get new update, may be Sony is not providing update to this particular model or some models of Xperia E 3. The problem is Sony customer care is not telling anything about this.
