WiFi connection problems

I got my phone a week ago.  When I first set it up it seemed fine and was connected to the wifi.  Now for the past couple of days it just keeps saying authenification problem.  I am not very tech savvy and dont know why it is doing this or if i have inadvertently pressed something which is stopping itI have tried switching off the wifi and starting again but it just keeps doing it.  Help.

Often when you get the message "authenification problem", the password for the network is incorrect. Have you changed the password for the network? If yes, you need modify the network in your phone via Settings > Wi-Fi > Long press the network > Modify or Forget the network and connect again.
