I have an Xperia SP, model number C5303, Android 4.3, Baseband version8960A-AAAAATAZQ-40031007-20, build number 12.1.A.1.205
I am having serious wifi issues that have persisted across more than 8 wifi networks networks in three countries (UK, Pakistan and Jordan).
My phone detects the networks with no issues, usually with strong signals. I can get on to the network with no authentication issues, but then the connections continually disconnect. When this happens, my phone can still see the network, and has them listed as "saved", then sometimes "disabled", and sometimes "association rejected". Sometimes it connects for a minute or two and then disconnects. I would say I have connection less than 20% of the time, but my phone can see these networks at good signal strength 95-100% of the time.
The networks I am using are good quality, and my laptop is having no issues whatsoever. However my android tablet is having similar issues, so I assume it's an issue with the interaction between andoid and my devices.
Can you assist?
once try in safe mode and post the update
Thanks for your response. I appreciate someone tring to help
I don't really understand what you mean - could you elaborate? I know how to run the device in safe mode, but I'm not at all clear what you mean by post the update. Could you offer a bit more of a step by step?
