Xperia ION Network data issue

[NS1099]

Issue discription :

When i have network data turned on and if i lose the network (e.g in lift) and when i get the network connection back, the network data doesnt come back automatically even though it is on.Even if i turn off and and turn on the network data it doesnt come back. i can call and receive calls so its not network problem. The Network data symbole near signal bar itself doesnt come.

i have tried switching on airplane mode and switching back off , connecting to wifi and disconnecting again, i have turned off data Limit but none work.

i have to restart the phone and then only it connects to network data again.i have repaired the software using PC companion and still facing the issue.

Phone Build : 6.1.E.2.68

Android version : 4.0.4

Model : LT28h

If possible I would advise requesting a SIM replacement from your network to at least rule this out as a possible cause of the issue.

I'm having the exact same issue and it's very annoying, cause If you turn off the wireless to save battery u have to restart your phone and even sometimes you have to restart twice to make it work again. I have read alot of forums and nearly everyone is having this issuse, hasen't there been a fix for this yet ?

Try a different sim (of same service provider or different provider), and see whether the problem persists.

my phone has exactly same issue too!!

from time to time it will have no network connectivity suddenly (netowrk signal is strong with "H")

i will have to switch off my phone, it will then restarted automatically when it's having such problem, otherwise it will just switch off normally when it's not having the network problem

i think it's not related to SIM but the phone itself

Hi I have T-Mobile connection, when I turn off my WiFi and connect to my mobile data it doesn't work. Any idea what I should do?
By the way, I have a 2.5 GB data plan, which works in other phone.
