And mine as well. I didn't notice it until yesterday, but I'm not sure when I used my YouTube app prior to then. Any body found a way to fix it/what's cuasing the problem?

Possibly due to needing to sign in to YouTube via browser and telling it you want to use your Google+ account, rather than whatever your YT channel is....HOWEVER, A WARNING, I THINK YOU'LL HAVE TO SET UP ALL YOUR PLAYLISTS ETC AGAIN!

I just tried here myself and I got the same problem. Unfortunately it seems like something has changed in the Youtube app/website when it comes to phones running Android 2.1. 

We found this thread on the Google forum where users with other phones running 2.1 reported the problem:

Thank you Alexander. I have also noticed I get the same message from my "Track ID" app which is on my E10i from factory reset too

xperia x10mini has always this problem try using another youtube app from android market(play store)...do not forget togive kudo by clicking the +star button....
