Z1 won't boot in safe mode post reset

Hello,

Please help, my Z1 compact had a unresponsive screens problem. I completed full reset using pc companion however, when I turn it on the screen still doesn't work so I can't get past the set up pages and this means i then can not try other fixes. This also applies in safe mode - any suggestions?

I am sorry to hear that.

If a software repair using Xperia Companion did not help, then I advice that you get in touch with your Local support in order to have your device delivered to an authorized service center.

If your display doesn't react to touch but you still would like to use it then you can try to use an OTG adapter combined with an USB mouse. This will make a cursor appear similar as one found in a computer which you can use.
