Android 9 - Fingerprint unlocks slow

I've noticed that unlocking the phone is much slower on Android 9 when using the fingerprint reader. Is there any way to rollback to the previous Android version? I've done a factory reset and still have the same issue.

that's weird, for me it unlocks faster than it used on Oreo. it doesn't even show the lockscreen when I touch the scanner, just wakes the screen and goes straight to the homescreen.

With Android 9 it can take up to a second for the phone to wake up. When will Sony come up with a fix!!

I deleted the stored fingerprints and make new: the situation is the same, it takes longer time to unlock.

Same Here, Update on my xz2 compact since yesterday. Result: Fingerprint unlocking Takes much Longer 😕

Restarting the phone seems to have solved the problem for me.

It's recommended make factory reset after incremental update. I had same problem but after factory reset everything works fine

Sökte på just det här och hittade det här forumet, ville även säga att på min One plus 5t så har den oxå blivit seg, ibland går det inte ens att låsa upp den.

Searched for this and found this forum, also wanted to say that on my One plus 5h it has become so, sometimes it can't even unlock it.
