Hi, I am having problems with my Xperia XZ1. During the past week, it freezed and automatically rebooted. It showed the sony logo, then this weird spanner triangle thing (link bellow), and then the xperia animation. After that the phone was able to use again.
This got worse yeasterday, when the same thing happened, but this time it ocurred 3 times in a row. It freezed while the xperia animation, and restarted as I said before. After the third time, it booted up normaly. The same thing occured while I was sleeping, because when I tryed to unlock it, I got the "PIN is required after starting" message.
A few hours ago the same thing happened, but I had it in my pocket. When I saw the screen, I found that the phone was in an endless loop. It occured at least 10 times, so I conected the charger just before it restarted. Then it showed the sony logo, followed by the spanner and screwdriver thing, and then it started charging. It´s almost charged now, but I don't know what to do.
I can't use xperia companion because it tells me to unlock my phone and give it acces to my data (I can't do anithing because it does not starts up)
Everything was working fine with the phone. The only 2 possible problems (they are not problems, the phone should still work perfectly) I have is that I have 500 MB of storage left, and the OS is not up to date. Hope you can help me, thanks for reading!!

Try using Xperia Companion to repair the software, you have one option when starting the repair "can not start smartphone or have Smartwatch 3", click on it.
@NunoSEN2 When I connect the device to the PC it starts charging. But Xperia Companion tells me to unlock the phone with my fingerprint and allow data access, but I can't start the device because it begins a loop. There's no "Cancel" option there. The only way I have to click the "can not start smartphone" checkbox is with the phone not connected to the PC. I tried clicking the checkbox, then clicking "Next", and then connecting the device (it starts charging). If I do that I don't see the message that tells me to unlock the phone and the data access, but I don't know if the repair will be sucessful. After that, the program asks me if I know the google account data (yes). But as I tell you, I don't know if that will work, as I connected the phone later. So I stopped there. I prefer having your opinion first. Thanks for the help!! Rodolfo

Yes, you must connect the phone to the PC only after clicking on the "can not start smartphone" checkbox and after the Xperia Companion tells you to connect it, just follow the Xperia Companion instructions and you should be ok.
Thanks for all your help, I solved it flashing the latest firmware because I didn't wanted to loose all my data. If I have any other problem, now I know that I can use Xperia Companion to solve it, but I will loose anything that is not backuped!
