Fast charging message not displayed

Just bought a new Xperia xz and it keeps asking to Install system update of which I have already done so

Quick charging does not have a special icon/message/indicator, it will just charge faster.

There must be a few updates released for your phone, so they will keep coming one after another. You can try to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory, thus updating your phone in one go. Don't forget to backup using Xperia Companion, but preferably without adding apps or settings to the backup.

depending on your region the latest update on the xz is 41.3.A.0.401, take note that some regions may not have received the update yet, if your device is still not on that build it will download all updates before it. try to check the latest softare version update for your device here: https://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/
