Hello everyone!

We tried out a new concept where we mainly let our community assist each other with product/feature questions in the Xperia XZ Premium board and it was a success! So, let's keep it rolling. 

The purpose of this thread is to ask anything that you wish to know about the Xperia XZ1 Compact; other users owning an Xperia XZ1 Compact and forum staff will do our best to reply! 

As an example, prior to purchasing an Xperia XZ1 Compact, you may be wondering if someone has tried out a specific third party app or feature on their XZ1 Compact, and could tell you a bit more about the compatibility and functionality as the app may important in your daily life. Staff and other users can come in and reply and let you know how it works!

The goal of this thread is to help each other out as a community. We will try to moderate this thread so that any new threads with a fitting question will instead be moved here, while we of course keep support threads the way they are now.

It only turns on when I get notification from a certain app.

Is there a way to change that? Kinda **bleep** to have to press the home button every time I get something to know what it is.

@___fer___ ; The screenshots get some time to be approved and also my screenshots are on Portuguese, don't know if it would help, simply long press on the app you want to change behavior>app info>notifications>tap on every notification kind>Behavior>first option is "Apear on screen and ...".

Hi, I have the android 9 and I can't find where to move an app or its data onto the SD card.

Hi, I've had my xz1 compact for a while now and I had the camera on silent, aka no shutter noise. Now since yesterday the shutter noise is back and I can't figure out how to silence my camera. I even put my phone on do not disturb and it still made the noise.

Please help me silence my camera again!

All (several hundred) but the last three pics in "Album" have disapeared from the album about a week ago. My laptop shows that the pics are still on the phone and they are all there in my XZ1 album but on the compact, nada. Opened the menu and  only two folders are shown (with only the three pics included in them). Is this an "app" problem and can I solve it by uninstalling the album app and then re-installing it anew? If I do so will the re-installed "album" find all the photo holding folders and re-insert the photos and videos in "album"? Is there another, better app available for this function ? Any help would be greately appreciated.
