I got my phone yesterday and I have an update every time I have just finished the previous one. I think I have updated 10 times already and asking to do another. Why is this happening

Hi @Karen67, welcome to our forum and congratulations on your new Xperia device!
Just as @NunoSEN2 mentioned, if there are a lot of pending updates, it will take quite some time to install all of them since the device has received a lot of update since it was released.
Once you have the latest update installed, you will not be asked to install any more of them, so keep installing the updates and once you are done, you are set!
In case you are curious and want to know if a new update has been installed, you can go to Settings > System > About phone > Build number. Write this number down > apply an update and restart the device > go back and check if the number has changed. If it has changed, a new update has been installed.
I hope that helps!
Hi @Karen67;
When you buy a new phone it will be updated progressivelly with all the updates released to the phone one by one. The only way to avoid this is connecting the phone to a PC and using Xperia Companion repairing the phone to the last software available.
