Unnecessary Application Updates

It's a shame that Sony pushes 'Unnecessary Application Updates'. For example - I own an Xperia XZ1 Compact, SONY NEWS SUITE is NOT on my 'phone. Yet Sony think it right to send updates for this application. This is crazy 🤪. It would be best not to do such things. I wouldn't mind if it were ACTUALLY ON my' phone. Unprofessional. Still, have to laugh 😂. No more Sony Xperia coming my way.

I fully agree with you KJB01.

I wanted all Sony bloodware deleted of my Xperia XZ1 Compact because I don't use them. That is not possible. Also I asked about the software loaded on my laptop from Sony in order to communicate with the phone by wire. Can this be deleted and removed? Updates (security) are coming over the air and upgrades we don't get anymore! The Sony answer was that he didn't know what I meant!?!

I'm furthermore come to the conclusion that the size of 4,6" for a smartphone is now a days to small for the most apps. They are made for sizes starting 5,5" but 6" or more is better. I'm waiting for the Microsoft Duo and than I take a dual SIM.
