Xperia XZ Premium keeps restarting when on charge

Hey guys,

I've read some forum posts that are similar to my problem. I just purchased my Sony Xperia XZ Premium a month ago and it has just started to restart/reboot itself when on charge. I've taken out my Sim card and it still does this. Please help! 😥

@Arityra has the phone been submerged in water? I've had the same issue after being caught by a downpour. the phone kept rebooting until I cleaned the charging port with compressed air and blew out some water from it.

That sounds terrible but no mine hasn't. I have only had it for one month. Help please!

@Arityra have you tried using another charging cable to see if anything changes? you could also try carefully cleaning the charging port with something like a wooden toothpick, to make sure that there's no lint or dirt inside that could cause shorting.

Yes I've tried a different charger and it has seemed to work so far! Thankyou
