ANT+ support

Hi there,

My new Xperia Z Ultra is marketed as supporting ANT+. I bough this phone because of this feature as I would like to use it for cycling to replace an aging Xperia Active.

It seems that ANT+ does not work on the Ultra. How do I get this working?

I got this working with the latest update. Bluetooth must be running. I'm loving it running IPBike for cycling.

Thanks. I know it has ANT+ and i know how to use ANT+, been using on my Xperia Active. BUT it has not been enabled in the firmware of the Xperia Z Ultra. Installing the ANT+ radio serice has no effect.

I think Sony has released the Firmware a tad to early, as the Sony Xperia M has the same issue.

Glad you got that working Colvil, I believe we spoke over on Whirlpool. Please do let us know how it goes when used for this with the bike as we don’t hear much about the ANT+ usage.
