Notes Widget Issue on Xperia ZR with 4.4.2 (10.5.A.0.230)

I upgraded my Xperia ZR to 10.5.A.0.230 (Android 4.4.2)

One issue I noticed is with the Notes Widget. The widget shows the contents of the note in focus. But when I switch notes in the widget, I see a blank note. I have to swipe to change to different homescreen and back to the one with widget to see the contents of the note.

Has anyone else seen this issue? Any known solutions or tips?

Does the issue remain if you remove and add the widget again?

Yes, I've already tried that. I have also rebooted the phone and even done a factory reset.

The issue is still there.

The Notes application version is 13.2.A.1.4 and the widget version is 2.0.A.0.16

These should be the latest version as I am not getting notified for any updates.

I had the battery issue..

But an Play Services update and a factory reset solved the problem.
