I have lately noticed, that when I'm calling or getting a call, I can't hear the other side unless I'm switching to speaker mode.
What might be the problem?

If you can't hear anything from the ear speaker during test I suggest that you try to reinstall the phone software using Update Service..
Before reinstalling your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

What seems to be the problem is a Contact problem, when I'm taping or pressing lightly on the upper frame of the phone over the ear speaker it works.
Hi sir, I have the same problem. I cannot hear anything while i'm calling or receiving a call, I need to plug an earphone or on the loudspeaker to hear them. Yesterday I used it with a good condition, I just noticed that problem today. I'm not sure if that's with call settings but I have tried my best to experiment it. I have done whatever guidelines you've said. I downloaded the link that you gave and other instructions but there are no changes. Did a software repair work for anyone?
When making and receiving calls I can sometimes only hear the other person when putting the phone on loud speaker. This doesn't happen all the time. The only advice I have received is to repair the software.
Can anyone tell me if this has solved the problem for them?

Do you have slow talk or microphone noise suppression enabled?
Microphone suppression shouldn't affect your phone's earspeaker, right? I have tried all the suggested solutions on the various threads, but nothing is working. This seems to be a fairly common problem, and it seems to be software related.
It could be related,practically it reduces background noise during call.You also tried a software repair?
