Stuck pixels on display

Hi guys, I have a problem with the display of my cellphone, it has a big black dot on it (by dot I mean a bunch of black pixels). At first I thought they were dead pixels, but after a while the dot changed it's shape (some black pixels became functional again, whilst others became black) I ran some "dead pixel fixer" programs but they can't erase the dot completely. I went to the store where I bought the cellphone and they told me to do a factory reset, my question is will it work? Or do I apply for the warranty of my cellphone?

Some details about this are that sometimes when I pass the dot over some pictures there are times that the pixels are entirely black, but there are others when I can see the picture through (although dark-colored but I can see the picture behind). Should I be worried about this? Please help! :,v

Thanks for reading

Edit: I updated my answer

@zerodmvh I have that gut feeling that you should make valid your warranty and ask for replacement (if the store will replace it) or contact your Local support and have it assessed... an HARDWARE defect cannot be fixed by a SOFTWARE reset...

Can you take a picture (not a screenshot) of the display and the stuck pixels? How old is the device? When did you buy it?
