Xperia Range Volume Issue

Hi. I have an Xperia z ultra. Xperia XA ultra and an Xperia z1 compact. I have noticed all the Xperia range seem to have the same problem.

When playing music through the headphones. After about 4 hours the volume will decrease dramatically so low infact you can barely hear it. To solve it you have to manually close all open apps then relaunch the music app. It's not a battery save issue as it happens even when the chargers are connected. I like listening to my music when I go to bed (helps me sleep better) even when I leave the chargers plugged in when I wake up the volume has almost gone or on some occasions the music has stopped completely even with repeat all selected.

Problems my z ultra and z1 have are very low external speaker output. You can turn the volume up quarter of the way and you hear it get louder. But if you keep pressing from them on to increase the volume the volume just stays the same. Example:

Tap 4 times on volume up. You hear it get louder. Tap the remaining 6 volume up segments and you hear no difference whatsoever. The volume stays the same as it was on level 4.

It's no wonder people look to flash custom firmware onto there devices when all Sony seem to love doing is limiting you from all the good features that every other brand give you. I got so fed up of the z1 I threw it in the fire. My z ultra which got damaged (screen cracked from simply placing it down on my coffee table) and they know it's a design flaw. But Sony refused to fix it even though it was still under warranty. I stripped the phone myself and fixed it. Soon after I sold it and upgraded. Sonys warranties are not worth the paper there printed on.

My XA ultra has decent speaker output but still has the same rubbish volume using headphones. The money I have spent on Sony goods over the years and had endless problems with which they didn't acknowledge. Iv now lost all respect I had for them. This XA will be the last Sony phone or Sony item I'm wasting money on. So much so after buying this XA ultra (which will not charge btw past 83%) and it's only 9 weeks old. Hundreds of pounds wasted. I'm now looking at changing to another more reliable brand.

There's no point taking your problem to Sony because they always blame the user no matter what the problem is. And expect you to pay for repairs and pay to have your own device sent back to you if you choose not to have it repaired. They are operating the biggest scam online as far as I'm concerned. My XA ultra came out the box unable to charge past 83% even when left to charge over night.

Last year they rolled out the 4.50 update for the Ps3. I updated one and the update killed my Ps3. So I turned on my other Ps3 again an update was needed so I chose to update. The same update killed both of my consoles in the same day. Both of which where working perfectly fine before hand. Sony as usual expected me to send both consoles to them and equally pay them for a replacement console?!?

Then my Sony via laptop. Brand new. Used it for 4 days then it wouldn't turn on. It wouldn't change. Contacted Sony and guess what? Yeah you got it. I was asked to send it in and pay for repairs. After 4 days of use! Or pay to have it returned to me without a repair. And again they blamed me for the fault. I had it repaired by a professional who found the cpu was defective. Not only that but the system bios was also the wrong version which had to be updated. Brand new goods from a so called premium brand should not arrive to the consume in these conditions.

Iv completely had it with Sony as a brand. I wont be buying anything else from them.
