Hi, I bought my phone in August 2016. Since then I use it very carefully, nevertheless I have small crack on back glass and 1.5 months ago I saw yellow spot/stripe under screen glass. Then after few days 2-3 tiny cracks and white-territory (when phone angle is little rotated) appeared in yellow-zone. Now this white zone became bigger.
I am wondering why this appeared, what cracked, what is white-territory and why it become bigger. I live in Yakutsk where it is normal when it is -30*C, -40*C in winter, is it because of temperature? I have warranty until August, will warranty center repair my phone for free?
P.S yellow stripe is many times more yellow in real life than in photos. It becomes very yellow when my phone is getting hotter. Front glass itself is very good, unbroken. Also I used my HTC Sensation very hardly (for many years) in winter too, but its screen is ok
I'm sorry to hear that. For optimal performance you shouldn't use you device in temperatures bellow -10 degrees Celsius, I cannot however say if low temperatures is what has caused this.
Unfortunately I cannot say if this will be covered by your phones warranty, I would recommend that you get in contact with your Local support support for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center. They can also assist you with questions you may have related to warranty coverage and service procedures in your country.
Let me know how it goes!
