Z5 compact top speaker malfunctioning?

My top speakers volume is really low even when i have the volume on max.

its really hard to hear someone that you're talking to on the phone

settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test speaker

Welcome to the community!

As @uliwooly suggested you can test your ear speaker in diagnostics if you go to: Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Ear speaker. How does the speaker behave here?

I would also recommend that you reboot your device to safe mode to see if one of your downloaded apps may be causing this behavior.
