Z5 compact will not turn on

Hi all,

When I tried to wake my Z5 compact the only thing working was the flashing led in the top right corner. Nothing I did would wake the phone up or turn it off. Following instructions on the Sony website I forced the phone to turn off using a paper clip to press the off button next to the sim card.

Now I can't turn the phone back on again, even using the '2 minute start procedure'. The battery is definitely charged and the phone was working perfectly up to this point.

Any ideas??

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear that. You have tried most things you can do to get the phone boot up again. What I would recommend is that you remove any SIM- and SD-card from your device, then try to start it as normal again.

If the same behavior persists and you have tried the " 2 minute start procedure" then charged the device for at least 30 minutes, I'd recommend that you get in contact with your Local support for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for repair.
