bdp-s185 internet content doesn't work after network update

I am located in Ireland.

my unit is connected with a wired network connection.
I've just updated the firmware to  M09.R.0060.
The update was successful and now shows "already updated" if reselected
The network connection is successful and diagnostics are fine but the internet services do not work. Selecting any of the internet audio/video options results in a "Connection status cannot be confirmed" error

I have same problem. Bought TV just today, and starts with problems. Feel I gonna hate this company.
