Faulty soundbar

I purchased a soundbar from currys pc world in March and it works fine with amazon music but when i put it in surround sound, movies it swiches off after about 2 minutes. It has been like that for a few weeks now. I have contacted currys and they told me to contact you before they look into it . They said it was a software issue. Please could you let me know the best course of action for this issue.

What is the model number of your soundbar?

Have you checked if there's an update for your model?

Please visit: https://www.sony.co.uk/support and look for your model to find out if there's an update.
