2 questions about messaging

There are two problems with "messaging' or "SMS"

1- I enabled "delivery notification" but i hear no sound. Although I get reply !!! you may say it is related to my network provider. However if I insert my sim card to my 6 years old phone, it works.

2- There is no notification about the number of messages while typing. I mean, after typing three lines, there is no notification that you have exceed one SMS. Is that normal?

,,Delivery notification,, is announced in the corner of the message. Not delivered as a message.

After you write the more you show have exceed one SMS (ICS 4.0.4).

i have not ICS. the default 2.3.4

So you mean there is no "delivery beep". Right?

No, it is certainly not in 2.3.4

Maybe use external application (Google Play).
