Considering purchasing KDL46EX503U from amazon, the only warranty available will be sony's manufacturer warranty(one year I think) should I purchase from other sellers inc. Sony offering say 3-5 year guarantee/warranty but have to pay extra £200 + ? Any suggestions welcome.
For any large investment, I'd personally always ensure I had suitable coverage. Many retailers bundle extended warranties with purchases now in addition to your statutory 1 year or even include it in the price ( possibly John Lewis?). Ultimately it has to be your decision though but worth shopping around and seeing whats on offer from various retailers - or look at getting it covered under your existing home contents insurance policy.
