Call disconnects - lock button

during call when i press the lock button call disconnects. during calls when the screen turned off, how should get back the screen and if i lock button to unlock screen call gets disconnected. this was not in the case of ICS.

That is not normal,at my phone everything works fine,the call does not disconnect if i press power button.An option not to let the phone screen turn off is to take it a little off the ear while speaking,so the call led shuts down and the screen turns on.But still,i think you should repair the phone software.

but in my phone, i got problem in receiving and dialing call. it lags for abt 8-10 seconds. and also while receiving calls, the ringtone doesnt ring. the phone call delays for few seconds even if i already picked the phone. its a very serious problem.

tht doesnt happen in my phone. you can check in any background process goin on. try to kill and check it again. may b in the new update u might get ur pblm solved

Got it.. i found the option in the accessiblity "Power button ends call" was marked. now it is fine.

I recommend that you first of all restarts your phone by press and hold the power button and the volume up button until the phone vibrates.

If the problem still persists after a restart I recommend that you update/repair your phones software using the program PC Companion:

Also you can try with another SIM card in your phone.

Hi Namita, are you using apps like viber / call recording (related to mobile microfone)?, because in some other thread some one mentioned these type of apps may causing the confict and can be the cause for lag.

could you please try to uninstll those and restart you mobile and test it ?!!

because of this stupid lag problem i have downgraded my mobile from JB to ICS

Rather than having to locate the hang up icon on the screen after each call, you can quickly end a call by pressing the Power button. It will not turn off the screen though.

To enable this, go to Settings - Accessibility - Power button ends call.

Note: Depending on which firmware you are running, you may need to update your firmware to see this feature.
