Screen Lock Sound problem?

After upgrade to ICS (maybe before, but only notice after upgrade), I found the screen lock sound went missing.

I double check the setting in Sound and max out all volume but yet the sound is missing during lock/unlock.

I saw from the internet that you need to download some sort of apps to change the system volume (assuming mine is set to 0/too low now), this is funny given such function should come with the stock ROM.

Anybody here having the same problem like mine ?

Make sure you have marked Screen Lock Sound in Sound settings

After that try to do a master reset

Settings > Backup and reset > Settings reset  (NOT FACTORY DATA RESET )

See if problem exists

Double checked. It seem that the sound is there but is extremely soft to the point that I can hardly hear it. I wonder if we had any place where we can adjust the system volume ? All I can see is just volume for ringtone, media, alarm and etc. Nothing on the system volumne.

I use an app called AudioManager by Smart Android Apps, LLC that allows you change all the different volumes separately.  Check it out might help figure out of one of your volumes is turned too low.

Turn ringtone volume to max and turn on Xloud as well.

Pretty much makes the difference

Though i think the sound was loud on GB ?

I am not talking about ringtone, but the system volumne like keyboard click sound, lock/unlock sound and etc.

I look around here and the internet, all telling me to install 3rd apps to adjust those vol. So my real question here is : why such basic function is not included in the stock ROM?

i'm assuming you saw my reply.

for the time being install " hide it pro" from the android market , it acts as a auido manager too.

open the application and set the system volume. just do this so that it can be rectified and your suggestion will be passed on.

Hi,
I had the same problem and i have also send message to Motorola Support team but they could not help me.
I have created an app for my phone, and I solved the problem.
