Hi until yesterday I could play videos I have recorded and use you tube. Now when I click on play a message pops up, unable to play video and on you tube connection to server has been lost. I've re-booted the phone and all my updates are up to date. Anyone out there got any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Settings > apps > all > youtube > clear data > restart your phone > try again

Do the same for the video app.

Could you elaborate on your videos issues? I thought it was only a youtube issue, but do elaborate

Videos taken and received via WhatsApp, I had no trouble re-playing them but now a message appears 'unable to play video ' hope this helps. Thanks

perhaps the videos weren't sent/downloaded properly

Hmm, I was able to view them until yesterday, old and new ones. Thanks anyway. I'm going to call into the phone shop tomorrow.

Try this

download MX player or another video player, perhaps the videos are corrupted
