camera has stopped

Hi! I can't use the camera App (Version 1.5.A.0.23). It keeps telling me camera has stopped, or camera keeps stopping.  I was hoping the last update (41.3.A.2.75) to fix the problem but it didn't. Clearing data of the App didn't help.

I can use Instagram to take photos without problem.

The error occurs also in safe mode.

Is there anything else I can try before performing a software repair? Thanks!

I resolved the issue by deleting the huge files in the DCIM/.thumbnails folder.

I did also what you say., but still the camera is not working, is the any other sulotion, I also clear the data and cache, then the same problem.
