Having problems with Google maps getting a GPS fix on my location after Oreo update. Before the update took these steps to fix the fix same problem:
Try to exclude your GPS maps from Battery optimization (I excluded sygic, waze, gps status & toolbox and Location services) + go to Settings >Storage & memory>Advanced>Keep Cache and choose GPS apps again.
Can't find same option in the settings.
