i bought xperia z1 4-5 days ago
this phone is good but if i brouse web for 10 min it get super hot and even when calling it get hot
What you describe here is not something I have noticed before or would consider as normal.
But I think it would be fare to try other app's as well, not just this single game. Just to get a better understanding and be able to rule out if this could be related to this single app or not.
If you can replicate this battery drain even when the charger is connected using any game I suggest that you try to run a software reinstall using SUS.

If the problem still remains you should contact your local support team, to have the phone examined and fixed at an repair center.

Ok I will try the software reset with the program you mentioned, also in the meaning time i have done more testing, here the results:
ALL test were done on idle screen on and app open.
1.- Probe the humans - Game
on pause while playing level
starting at 27% battery
finished at 27% after 15 min
2.- Chrome - App
no use, white page idle
starting at 27%
finished at 29% after 15 min
3.- Dead trigger - Game
Pause menu while playing level
starting at 29%
finished at 27% after 15 min
4.- MX Player - App
playing normal video (NO HD)
started at 27%
finished at 29 $ after 15 min
After those tests i can say that the heat wasnt excesive on any test (but no use was done on any also)
It clearly looks like something is wrong either with my individual phone or with the model in general due to a very slow charge while using the device or even worst, loosing charge while being charged. I seriously doubt reseting software will do a change but i will try it before calling this thread done and going to the center you posted.
Thanks for your help, i was siriously hoping a better answer different than just go to tech support or dont use your phone. I thought a problem like this should have been addressed as the testing of the device was done in your labs. Or if it wasnt test and found on customer then a plan of action should have been taken like replace defective devices, this is a big stain for what looked like a good device. If it is just mine it is acceptable as long as the problem is solved, if not the only one ..... well someone need to be fired for letting go such a big issue in a premium phone along with compensation for the people affected.
I wont call this issue resolved until it really solves.
EDIT:
Test was with WiFi On and screen brightness at 40%
no sense that the processor is almost always the maximum in such basic tasks as the browser and social networks, I think it's a waste of battery and sony should modify the parameters of the governor to manage the processor, and yet still think overheats with minimal use. Wait for the phone to cool to use the camera is a real shame on a phone that costs so much money.
Did you measure the tempture? There is a app in play store(Phone temp). Get it and measure the tempeture.
Its funny i really thought this wouldnt happen to me. I shot a 2 minute video with my phone and the camera overheated!! yay for awesome software/hardware combos
I really have no idea how sony didnt figure that this could be an issue ;(
They really need to roll out a software update asap and hopefully solve this issue.
Thats what worked for me until the next thread i will create.
