Z5 Microphone Problem

Hey guys, I recently just purchased the Z5 on Black Friday and starting last night I've been experiencing a problem related to my microphone in that it isn't working. No one can hear me during calls or when you record videos.

I checked to see if there was microphone suppression settings but unfortunately there isn't any.

I want to see if I can fix it first before taking it in just because my old phone broke on Halloween and I went an entire month without a phone up until j got this one and so I'm trying to avoid letting it go.

Bro i am experiencing same problem secondary mic is not doing well. My fellwos always complain that during my call it seems i am talking on phone at a diatance. My sound to them is very very slow. Hasn't found any solution yet. But i would like to know if you find any

I also having a same problem with my z5 compact. I bought it on July 2016. On Jan 2017 my z5 compact screen suddently blank and i cant turn it on. I went to the service centre and repair it. They have change it with the new board.

And then a new problem happend. When i calling somebody and people calling me, they cant heard my voice. I already doing diagnostics test but there is no problem found. I ve change my sim card with other the same problem also happpend. I also have done factory reset for twice. But the problem is still there. Z5 compact is not a cheap mobile phone. If i know this situation will be happend i ll not buy this handphone. Sony! Please get alert to your smart phone problems or your customer will not believe on you anymore in the future!

it seem sony do not want to help us to solve this proplem.

i will return back to my old nokia c7 mobil because it has a very good mic in the calls.

I tested the microphone of my no issue perfectly clear recording but people still can't hear me on any call

I finally sent mine back for repair under warranty and it had the microphone replaced. Now callers can hear me fine.
